About Faten Shaban
Seventeen years in K-12 classrooms. Eleven of them leading ICT and academic data. I did not read about drowning in school reporting — I lived it, and I built my way out.
The story
I started where every educator starts — teaching, mentoring new teachers, and leading school-wide initiatives. Organising things and explaining hard ideas simply has been my thread since childhood.
I was handed the school's ICT and academic data function. Like most people who get handed the reporting, I was given the responsibility and no system.
Evenings and weekends went to manual reports built from files that never agreed. I did all of it by hand, with no recognition and no way out. That burnout is the exact place my clients are standing when they find me.
I did not leave. I built dashboards and reporting systems that gave me my evenings back, cutting my own weekly reporting from three or four hours to under thirty minutes.
Then I taught the people around me. Today more than a hundred educators use systems I built — and along the way I designed and shipped an academic support bot for students.
